Bunny

You know what I want? A bunny. Yes, a fucking bunny. I could easily purchase one in the pet store (cage, food and toys) but my mum would throw a hysteric fit that would probably go something like:

"Another pet?? AGAIN? What did I tell you about bringing pets home? He'd probably end up as the dog's dinner or your neurotic cat's toy!"

Not so screamy, but it'll be cold and just. I can't take care of my pets :/ It didn't help that khan showed me this. Hersheey.

###

Last Sunday I went to cover the Tour of the Fireflies. But I ended up covering a cat-show instead.

#20! One of my favorite cats. He wanted me to pet him.

I miss my cat. I wish he could be as malambing as Lily or #20 but Chanel is kind of neurotic. Lulz.

Sad

It's been a wonderful day with surprises. But in the end, it kind of sucks because they make me sad.

ASL? // 19 f QC

It would be a shame if I didn't write about my 19th birthday :) It was pretty simple and fun.

My day started off with breakfast in Pancake House with my mum and my grandmum. I had pancakes and tacos because I figured I'd need the energy for the day of shopping ahead! After a lovely breakfast, my mum and I went straight to divisoria, I thought we were rather early as I heard 168 opens at around 10:00 am (we were there at 9:30 am), but lo and behold we saw it open and not so brimming with people yet! So we went inside, got lost for a bit and decided to search the top (more expensive) floor first.

There were less people, which was great. There were actual stores, which were not-so-great since they tend to be more expensive than their tiny, more claustrophobic, lower floor counterparts. Anyway, so we looked around and I spotted cheap thick tights for 100 pesos. So I bought them in my current favorite color, gray. So we looked around again, mum bought 2 pairs of colorful mod watches for her and for my aunt. We also found light gray (looks like worn-in black) skinny jeans that are slouchy and comfy and that came in my size. Lovely-lovely. Of course I bought it, it was only 650 pesos! It's so hard to find a good pair of skinny jeans that come in a good price and still permit your blood to circulate in your legs.

We went to the lower floors and chaos started. People were everywhere! Well, not really. It was an ok crowd for me (and for 168) but it was a tad too much for my mum (who hates crowds and has claustrophobia) so we got my last 168 purchase for the day: cellphone stickers! We then headed to Wai Ying and had a heavy lunch!

We went home, but not before stopping by 7-11 to buy my new Preview. YAY!

We rested at home and I got to talk to Joanna again which is great because I missed her so :)

Mum and I had dinner in Shangri-La Makati's Circle Events Cafe. I love it there, the buffet is great and the food is made of yum and pretty. For 1324 pesos, its definately worth it. I plan on eating there again someday ;P

Ozine, death note, MoA and tofu

There was a generous amount of fun last weekend with birthday/swim parties, conventions, an aborted movie marathon and long walks in my bitch heels. It's like I'm hoarding all the fun just in time for Holy Week where God tells us not to have too much fun, mkay?

Lulz, I still feel odd not having any birthday plans.

###

Last Sunday, was Ozine fest 2007. Got pretty tired of all the Naruto cosplayers and eventually bored with the repetitive Rozen Maiden and Death Note cosplayers (Ryuuk and Remu not included). Gundams and transformers and all sorts of large-scale cosplays are still made of win and cool while chibi Sailormoons are losing its cute factor (at least their costumes were elaborate. So much pearls! So much kira kira!).

I took pictures of some cosplayers but my film roll was dominated by non-cosplaying otaku styles. There were cute outfits, cliche "anime school girl" outfits and the eer present goth. It was a good time to take pictures. This kind is part of my thesis research :D

I got free arts from Patrick, the long lost Berd and the amazing Kuya Wilson Tortosa. Will scan/take pictures as soon as my scanner stops being funky.

###

The following day (monday), I had a meeting with fellow org-officers concerning the Org's scheduled events for the upcoming year. Then Petter and I went home to watch the Death Note movies and read a bit of Yamada. Twas a very good day.

###

Yesterday, I went to the HOOGE Mall of Asia with my long lost high school friends Eunice and Johanna. That was a lot of fun (even with my beautiful feet contraption I call my Fiorucci heels) I watched 300 for the 3rd time. :D One more and I've finally hit my 1,200 mark!! :D

I spotted some glue-on nail jewels at one of the craft shops in MoA. It's only 70 pesos so I believe I shall buy it :D And pale, ballerina pink nail colour. Yis. :3

###

Today is 'hand around, draw, watch a couple of movies, disregard your damn diet and read a book or two' day for Petter and I. Since we're low on funds, I decided we can have lunch here at home, read a comic books, draw, watch movies and just talk. Kinda like the Kada's infamous geek-outs (NEXT WEEK!!!). I'm quite excited.

Today , we'll buy a tub of vanilla ice cream and mix it with a bit of my mum's coffee. Yumm. :3

###

On sunday (april 8th) we can officially start celebrating my birthday xD I' not sure when the La Sallians start their summer so I'll ask around. I want my geek out complete ya knoes.

I missed you lot!!! ♥

Last Saturday: Birthday

Last Saturday the family celebrated 7 birthdays. We celebrated at the upper penthouse of Marishka's building and there were lots of food and kids and cameras and fun. Petter was suddenly thrust into the David-family world. I believe he enjoyed himself :)

*end post* :D
