Yesterday was my dad's Deathday anniversary. It's been 13 years since he's died and we really really miss him. When I remember him my eyes well up and I feel drained. I guess I haven't really paid much attention to him for so long. I really miss my dad.

I didn't have enough money to buy flowers for him yesterday so I'm counting our Monday get together will be a blast. I'm sure it will because everyone is going to be there!

I'm inviting dragging Petter so Leslie can start calling him a winner xD I love it.

On better news. Sagar and Marishka are back together! I love this news so much and I'm so happy for the both of them!

Wow, this post is really a rollercoaster of emotions.

I'm typing happily away in the office because there's no one around. The PD people are somewhere having a meeting and the quietness makes me think better and be more productive.

I really miss him too (even though wre just saw each other the other day). The past few days were so draining and all I need a good non-relative hug. Yeah.

I'm also hankering for some serious Kabab pigging out. Mmmm Keema with eggplant.

For the first time ina very long time, I am very much broke. I can't even buy a bottle of C2 without thinking hard about it. Seriously!

Summmerrrr

Summer's here! Summer's here! :D I can't say much about that except I have possible things lined up that would keep me busy. From thesis research to photoshoot/photobook projects and animation collaborations, my Summer would be hectic but it would be great because I'd be able move in my own terms.

I celebrated Summer as soon as our Professional Ethics teacher released told us that we could leave after the test. Petter and I went to his friend Joel's place so we could watch 300 again. The graphics and visuals never cease to amaze me. The filter and quality (I can pretty much replicate in photoshop) is spectularzz. Gerard Butler is still sexy. Ah yes, I love 600 (300 x the number of times you've seen it :D).

Much like our original plan of eating Persian food after the movie, the three of us headed to a different Persian restaurant, Bherouz so we could try their stuff out. We were dissapointed. The menu was limited but they still hold the title of "Best Ox Brain" (you must try it, it's squite good with rice or with pita bread!). We were so dissapointed in everything (except the ox brain) that we headed to Mister Kabab to have another meal! Hardcoooorrreeeee. Lulz. We ordered the usual Special Celo Kabab and Yogurt shake. Le Yum :9 Then we drove to the nearby McDonalds to have milkshakes. 8D PIGG OUTT!!

The following morning (sunday), we had lunch at home with le familia and once again I pigged-out. After that, we went to Bonifacio High Street to have Krispy Kreme, because in the Philippines-- at least with my family-- Krispy Kreme is a family affair. :D After that, I shopped. Luwlz. Tadpole feet

I'm cramming my adprac media plan assignment which isn't very smart, but at least the time pressure makes me think better. If my environment is lax, my brain is lax. I have bad work ethics. Boooo.

Advan shoes are awesome. Sure, your feet resemble tadpoles when you wear a pair, but they're awweeesooome. In a sea of Nikes, Adidas and Chucks, you standout with your tadpole feet. Tadfeet. And they're dirt cheap too. I believe a pair of lace ups are 150 pesos and the Vans-type are 200 or something? Basta, they're cheap. I'll buy a pair someday and paint on them.

So it's sad when this personal pinoy pop-icon (it reminds me of PE days in STC --ew--) doesn't even have information available on the web. Another advan shoe pops up and it's from Japan. I want my canvas tadfeet shoes!

I saw the trailer for 300 today. Oh gosh, I almost wet myself. I plan on breaking doors and other forms of public property after watching it next week :3 We also plan on eating in Mister Kabab after because it's Persian food. If we see the owner of the said establishment, we'll restrain ourselves from kicking him in the guts and into the vat of white garlic sauce. :D :D

I threw a fun and gooood party last Tuesday evening (the evening before Paskuhan) for the gorgeous AdDos class. Almost everyone was there (Agnes!! Bakit walang nag-SMS sayo??) and everyone (as far as I know) had a fun time :D People went crazy for my Nordic Strawberry Cherry Ice. 6 girls managed to almost finish one bottle! Hello 4-5 trips to the bar. Since I am Miz Kabab and Miz Bartender I will share to you the uber-simple drink recipe!

Nordic Strawberry Cherry Ice

What you need:
Nordic Ice Vodka Strawberry (you can also use Absolut Kurrant, Arkan/Actic Vodka in Strawberry)
Sprite
Maraschino Cherries (preferably with stems)
Ice

How to do it!
Put ice in short glass
Pour 1/4 glass of vodka
Pour sprite
drop the cherry
add 3 teaspoons of cherry syrup/juice from cherry jar.
Serve. Giggle.

See? Super simple. Stems are cool because when your guest gets giggly you can actually just ask him/her to tie it with his/her tongue. You share a social drink together and learn more about each other at the same time ;D

To answer your question: Yes, I can tie a cherry stem with my tongue.

Anyway.

It was a fun Multiply-worthy evening. Spice Girls, Dave Matthews Band, Erasure, Justin Timberlake, Hed Kandi and an Usher track or two played that night.

Lots of memorable things happened :D I got a gift from Party Pao!!, a how to speak Japanese book. It's super awesome and super sweet! Thanks so much!! 8D 8D

I also got a suuuper awesome book from Lala about me and my descisions. Oh, it's so very very apt!! xD Thank you thank you!

I also got slippers and cookies from Sugar! sweeeeet.

Mega Delaying Tactics

I'm too lazy and stupid to work on my raisin box. I think I had too much Keema for lunch. I'm overstuffed and my head hurts.

Some serious negative things now.

My head is fucking throbbing and my eyes are deathly unfocused. Thinking of raisin boxes, Velez-work and Fashion Design is making me wanna pull a Mia and share my lunch with my toilet.

Speaking of Kabab...

Went to Victorynite last night where I got dolled-up (and by dolled-up I looked like someone's Tita chaperone!) and listened to some serious ispiration. Can't wait for my One2One!

Ate at Kabab with Petter and his friend Joel. Nazee missed this which sucked because I was supposed to treat him!! TSK!
